DESCRIPTION:The UK’s No. 1 patchwork and quilting event\, featuring: \n\nAn open competitive quilt show with entries invited from all abilities\nFeature quilt displays from well-known quilters and textile artists\nA variety of exhibitors selling patchwork & quilting supplies for all your needs\nWorkshops available on a first come\, first served basis at the show\nDemonstrators on hand to show you their techniques and to give help and advice\nExcellent facilities\, including restaurant\, disabled access & free parking\n\nThursday 15 – Sunday 18 May 2025\nThursday – Saturday: 10am – 4.30pm\nSunday: 9.30am – 3.30pm \nAdvance tickets\nAdult: £10\nSenior Citizen (65+) / Registered Disabled: £9\nChild (under 16): Free\nAdvance tickets available until the Wednesday before the show \nOn the door prices\nAdult: £13\nSenior Citizen (65+) / Registered Disabled: £12\nChild (under 16): Free \nLocal quilting group\nIn the spirit of “reduce\, reuse\, recycle”\, Malvern Quilters have made a traditional crazy quilt\, a technique popular in the nineteenth century. \nThe pieced top is made from scraps of silks and velvets that would have been thrown away\, the wadding (the warm part of the quilt that goes between the pieced top and the backing) is a wool blanket that cost £5 from a charity shop in Malvern\, and the backing is a cotton sheet that has been tie-dyed with dye that had been in a group member’s cupboard for many years. The sashing – the rectangular strips between the blocks – came from needlecord offcuts from making clothing many years previously. \nThe only items bought\, therefore\, were the blanket and the thread to embroider the quilt blocks and tie the quilt in a traditional technique. \nMembers pieced a block and embroidered it with traditional stitching\, and the quilt was then assembled and tied by the group. \nThis traditional crazy quilt will be exhibited at Quilts UK Malvern at the Three Counties Showground from 15 – 18 May 2025. \nMalvern Quilters are believed to be one of the UK’s oldest patchwork and quilting groups\, having been formed in 1979. The group meets at Malvern Vale Community Centre and new members of all abilities are welcome.

DESCRIPTION:Taking place twice in 2025\, the Festival of Transport at the Three Counties Showground is jam-packed full of interest for the car enthusiast. On both occasions\, there will also be the ever-popular autojumble taking place. \nCar owners/exhibitors are advised to arrive between 8am and 9am. All car owners/exhibitors should arrive no later than 11am if using a discounted advance car owner/exhibitor ticket. \nVisitors may arrive from 8.30am. The event concludes at 3pm. \nAs part of the vehicle displays\, visitors can expect to see up to 400 vintage\, classic and modern classic vehicles. \nCars are displayed by age (pre-’60s\, ’60s\, ’70s\, ’80s\, ’90s\, 2000s+) and category (American\, Sports and Convertibles\, Commercial and Military and Kit\, Custom and Replica). \nThere will also be a wide variety of club stands and displays which will be displayed on the basis of classic and modern classic clubs. DESCRIPTION:Although all events organised by Warners welcome caravanners\, this is the only Warners show of the year where visitors will also find caravans for sale in the exhibition area. With a wealth of indoor and outdoor trade areas\, there is something for everyone at this popular show set beneath the majestic Malvern Hills in all their early autumn glory. \nWidely regarded as an autumn break offering excellent value for money\, the extensive camping fields offer pitches for motorhomes\, campervans\, caravans and tents.
